Our wooden lamps are made of rubberwood and not only offer a stylish and modern look, but also have multiple sustainability and environmental benefits. A special feature of rubberwood is that it is harvested only after the trees no longer give off their sap for latex production. This means that rubberwood is a renewable wood that is extracted after the trees have fulfilled their primary function. As a result, it contributes to a circular wood industry because it is only used after the full life of the tree. This shift makes rubberwood one of the most environmentally friendly woods. Its use promotes sustainable forest management and reduces waste. By giving this wood a second life in our designs, we avoid waste and contribute to a circular economy.
